Experience
In school activities, I have held a group of young children. I relate well to younger children which I feel makes me an effective teacher for them. I find tutoring the easiest way to make money on the side, and the fact that it is a win-win situation makes it even better: my student learns from me and I learn from him/her as well. Since I am under the Mass Communication program, English is our main language on a daily basis. I also take an Introduction to Communication class, as well as a Communication Arts class. I am also an avid fan of books which makes me capable of teaching writing skills and techniques. I also run a blog (gertiebulaong.blogspot.com) which I update whenever I have the free time to do so.

I am a very good public relations person. I can adjust well to different situations and environments. My fluency in both the English and Filipino language is a great contribution by the fact that I love to read books and I have always watched Sesame Street. All my cousins are younger than I am (ranging from 1-16 years old) which makes me flexible to relate to younger children.
